Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
Photographers were allowed to look today at some of the most famous diamonds in the world to go on public display at the end of June, as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The exhibition, called Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration, brings together for the first time seven of the nine principal stones cut from the famous Cullinan Diamond, discovered more than 100 years ago in South Africa.
The seven stones are set in brooches, a ring and a necklace, most of which have been worn by the Queen during her 60-year reign.
The exhibition will run from June 30 to July 8 and then from July 31 to Oct. 7
