Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
Suncor Energy Inc. reported Monday that it successfully completed planned maintenance work on one of its two oil sands upgraders (U2) at its oil sands operations near Fort McMurray safely and on schedule. Oil sands production has returned to normal.
