Gold price rebounds 2% as Goldman reiterates $3,000 target
Bullion has declined about 7% from a record last month, with losses accelerating after Trump’s victory.
Chieftain Metals has initiated an important step in its 2011 operations plan by transporting heavy machinery and equipment via barge to the Tulsequah Chief mine site in north-western British Columbia.
Included in the barging shipments are major components of Chieftain’s Interim Water Treatment Plant (IWTP) which is an important step in Chieftain’s commitment to the long-term development of the project.
The barging mobilization is expected to continue through mid-June. Elements of the construction plan will be commencing in June once sufficient equipment and materials are on site.
