Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
Orezone cut higher grades of gold in near surface oxides and deeper sulphides in a 15,000 metre round of drilling at the Bomboré project, Burkina Faso.
“If the trend continues we can expect an increase in the size and grade of the oxide resources, with the potential to lower strip ratios and improve economics,” said Rob Little, Orezone president and CEO, in a prepared statement.
