Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.

ENRC is one of the world’s leading diversified natural resources groups, performing integrated mining, processing, energy, logistics and marketing operations, with its production assets largely located in Kazakhstan, with other assets in Africa and Brazil. Key mines include the SSGPO iron ore complex in Kazakhstan as well as BAMIN in Brazil. Copper assets include a 90% interest in Chambishi Metals, the Zambian copper and cobalt producer and ownership of CAMEC with its DRC copper and cobalt sites. (more…)
