Solaris exits Canada for Switzerland with new CEO, board and spin-out plans
The company changed its board of directors and plans to spin out non-core assets La Verde, Capricho, and Paco Orco into a new company.
In the race to make electric cars a viable alternative to internal combustion engines, Nissan announced that it had developed technology to charge a car in 10 minutes.
The time it takes to charge a car is seen as a major hurdle to widespread acceptance of electric cars. With the current technology, it can take several hours to recharge an electric car.
Kansai University in Japan is credited with inventing the technology.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the technology is a decade away from commercial production.

At this point in time, choosing an electric car is going to be more difficult than ever. Not only is the technology so new that many people are barely aware of it, let alone familiar with it, but the selection has yet to reach any type of substantial point.
