Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
The organisers say that Intermat 2012 is 90% sold and ”undeniable growth heralds a successful exhibition. Positive growth forecasts and an occupancy rate of 90% eight months before the show are promising signs.” Intermat is a large construction exhibition held in Paris that also sees mining equipment exhibited, and mining visitors.
