John Nadler’s Rare Metal Summit Presentation includes Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium Forecast.

Respectfully, John Nadler, Senior Analyst for KITCO just gave the best presentation today at the Rare Metal Summit. He has the audience quite excited with his presentation titled “PGMs: White-Hot”. He started by saying “I do not advocate buying gold to make money but to preserve capital.” And then added that he had a 88% success rate. While I am not certain of the details of this forecast record, I copied down a quote he used in his PPT that read: “Over the next year, platinum has a better outlook than gold”…

Here are the highlights:

  • Platinum’s average price was $1203 in 2009, could be $1580 in 2010, $1746 in 2011…
  • Palladium’s average price was $263 in 2009, could be $445 in 2010, $485 in 2011, $571 in 2012, $485 in 2013
  • Rhodium’s average price was $1442 in 2009, could be $2800 in 2010 and $4200 in 3 years…

John asked the crowd if they wanted Gold and Silver…while this is a source of rare metal information – thought I’d include it for posterity…

GOLD: $1105 (1210) – $952 (1211) – $873 (1212) – $908 (1213) – $870 (1214)
SILVER: $1755 (1210) – $1600 (1211) – $1498 (1212) – $1521 (1213) – $1400 (1214)
