Alaska Pacific Energy plans strategic move into mining

Alaska Pacific Energy continues to look for ways to expand its presence  in the mining sector by talking to companies interested in pursuing joint ventures or a full amalgamation of interests.

The company is in the process of making fundamental changes to its core business; it has already bought an existing Tanzanian property located in an established mining zone.

Management is now involved in discussions regarding projects in Africa, British Columbia, Canada and South America.

“In order for (Alaska Pacific Energy) to advance to a more senior position within the mining industry, it has had to target high-profile, well-positioned projects with not only a real potential for success, but also with the type of expertise and management required for large scale operations, ” President Jim King said.
