Mining’s old guard needs strong medicine
A new report details subpar investor returns in the mining industry over the last decade, particularly big cap diversified companies which have not adapted to new realities.
The Public Accounts Committee constituted by the Goa State Legislative Assembly has collected data, which confirms that large quantity of ore was tapped by firms without proper mining permissions in the state’s forest rich rural talukas.
