SILVER MINING – 400-year-old silver mine reopens

The mine is part of BHP's Minerals Americas business that also includes Spence.

The goal is to develop and implement a net zero emission haulage solution by leveraging ABB’s expertise as well as its eMine solutions.

The miner said the drop in production was due to challenging ground conditions at South Deep mine.

Thompson, who has been with Nutrien for 13 years and currently serves as chief commercial officer, will assume his new role on August 26.
