CommodasUltrasort acquires Terra Vision of Québec

CommodasUltrasort, the leading provider of sensor-based ore sorting systems, has today entered into an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Terra Vision. Terra Vision is the trade name of the Canadian registered company 9166-7113 Québec Inc, currently owned by Matthew Kowalczyk, Peter Kowalczyk and Jean-Daniel Bussieres.

With offices in Quebec City and Vancouver, Terra Vision offers automated ore sorting solutions from initial feasibility testing to equipment sales and complete contract sorting lines to the Canadian and North American mining industry. Terra Vision recorded revenues from sales of consulting and sorting test work of approximately 500.000 CAD in 2009.

The acquisition of Terra Vision will strengthen our ability to provide local support to our existing customers and ensure that our new installations this year in Base Metals and Industrial minerals become a commercial success for our customers,” says  Hartmut Harbeck, Sales Director,  CommodasUltrasort Mining. “Matthew and Jean-Daniel will also strengthen our global mining team by their mining specific sorting experience.”
