Rajant tests its ideas for tele-operated vehicles to assist in mine search and rescue missions

Rajant, a leading provider of wireless mining solutions, will showcase an Autonomous Mine Rescue project it recently supported and participated in, in conjunction with the Colorado School of Mines, during the AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America 2010 show from August 24 to 27, 2010 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. The test project was designed to address the challenges and dangers associated with search and rescue efforts in underground mines. The premise is that tele-operated vehicles can be incredibly useful tools to assist in search and rescue missions — and would keep people out of harm’s way. (more…)
