Vale to build iron ore briquette plant in Louisiana with $283m financing from US

Brazilian miner Vale will begin the process to build an iron ore briquette plant in Louisiana after wrapping up talks with the US Department of Energy for $282.9 million in financing for the project through 2031, the firm said on Wednesday.
