Registration is open now for The Geological Society of America’s (GSA) Connects 2022 meeting, to be held October 9–12 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

This year includes an in person scientific exchange along with a fully hybrid option that gives remote attendees full access to participation.

Along with all topical, discipline, and special sessions, GSA will livestream and record for on-demand viewing all Pardee Keynote Symposia, the Opening Keynote, Presidential Address & Awards, Noontime Lectures, Special Lectures, and the Halbouty Distinguished Lecture. GSA will accommodate live online presentations for those speakers unable to attend in person.

A dozen field trips will explore world-class geologic heritage sites around Denver, PreCambrian Colorado, Dinosaur Ridge, the geology of Pikes Peak, and more, including an accessible field experience for persons with disabilities.

The conference will feature new research, emerging issues, and context and sources on the geoscience that underpins modern society.

Three Symposia with invited speakers cover topics of broad interdisciplinary interest, including Geoheritage, the Future of Environmental and Engineering Geology, recognizing GSA’s Environmental and Engineering Geology Division’s 75th anniversary, and the significance of Earth’s Proterozoic-Phanerozoic Transition.

Registration is here.
