Brixton Metals teams up with Eldorado on Atlin Goldfields project
Located 9 km east of the town of Atlin, British Columbia, the property comprises a 579-square-kilometre claim group.
A collaboration between Geoscience BB and the mineral exploration and development sector has created a new public data compilation to support economic development and guide decisions about exploration for critical minerals in the Canadian province’s Golden Triangle.
Ten mineral exploration and development companies took part in the Golden Triangle Geophysics Data Compilation Project by contributing private geophysical data covering 1,329 km2. The data has been reviewed, purchased and consolidated into newly published public data sets, with original data also available, Geoscience BC said in a press release.

Data available through the Province of British Columbia’s Assessment Report Index System and other sources of existing public geophysical data have been identified and linked to provide a comprehensive compilation of public geophysical data for the Golden Triangle.
The Golden Triangle area is well-known for hosting current and past mines, as well as hundreds of mineral exploration projects, with the potential to supply critical metals needed to meet forecast demand for clean technology applications such as batteries, electric vehicles, solar panels and wind turbines.
“Quality data is essential to guiding exploration for Canada’s critical minerals, and to informing responsible decision making. I would like to thank the companies that contributed data, as well as Indigenous groups and others that helped to guide this valuable, collaborative project,” Geoscience BC VP, Minerals Christa Pellett said.
Local Indigenous groups provided input on the area of interest for the Golden Triangle Geophysics Data Compilation Project, and the public data generated is being shared with them.
