Investigating magistrate appointed in Belgium in Congo conflict minerals case
The DRC in December filed criminal complaints accusing Apple subsidiaries of using so-called conflict minerals in their supply chain.
Swedish mining gear maker Epiroc reported second-quarter operating earnings just below market expectations on Tuesday and forecast demand would remain at a stable high level in the near term.
Operating earnings at the firm rose to 2.18 billion Swedish crowns ($250.8 million) from 1.42 billion a year earlier, lagging the 2.25 billion average analyst forecast according to Refinitiv data.
