Ivanhoe’s Kipushi zinc mine in DRC officially reopens
The restart marked exactly a century since the mine first went into production.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) report on key electricity trends in the world’s developed economies, released last week, shows renewable energy overtaking coal as a source of electricity generation for the first time in 2019.
Natural gas took the top spot from coal in 2018 and last year coal-fired power production fell by the most on record – in both absolute and relative terms.
Coal use was 13.4% lower than in 2018 at 2,328 Twh and made up just over 22% of the total electricity mix. Coal use in Europe fell by 21.7%, the sixth year in a row of shrinking output. The IEA says in the Americas, coal-fired power plants produced 14.% less electricity year-on-year.
In 2019, non-combustible renewable production accounted for just under 26% of total OECD electricity production at 2,735 Twh.
Overall, fossil fuels dropped by 245 TWh, while renewables production rose by 119 TWh from 2018 to 2019. The largest increase for renewable technologies was wind, up by 12.8%, followed by solar, up 14.1%. Nuclear power generation grew slightly.
At 3,061 Twh during the year, natural gas remains the leading source of electricity in the 35 countries covered by the OECD, and last year electricity produced from natural gas increased by 4.8% and was responsible for 29.0% of the total.

About Coal Miners
Their has been less of them! That’s due to increased use of machinery on coal mines! That’s just like what happened in Mississippi’s Delta Region in the Late 80s! Less farmworkers, due to increased use of machinery on farms!

Coal is being burned for pizza! No wonder why were to find Co2 from ?, instead of power plants! Co2 from ? plants went ? ? for good and Co2 from ? plants are dead for good! Co2 from ? plants are just like the ?!
While coal on power plants are being burned cleanly! No wonder why we must name that “Green Coal” or “Environmentally Friendly Coal”!

Also coal not being burned cleanly, aerosols must be injected into coal not being burned cleanly! Then, the coal plant emits aerosols into the atmosphere that causes global freezing! This coal plants then can be the new eruption ?!

While, it’s more important to install Co2 scrubbers into ? plants burning unclean coal than burning unclean coal! Then, the Co2 is filtered just like sulfur dioxide! The Co2 can then be used to enhance oil wells, put out fires, inject into planted ?, and to be shipped of to Mars for animals, humans, and ? to live there!
Injecting aerosols into dirty coal before burning the dirty coal is more important than burning the dirty coal! Then, aerosols be emitted into the atmosphere! That’ll kill global warming meaning by? ? to global warming for good! While, ? global freezing! That’ll be why before we know it, their’ll be ? ? in the Gulf Of Mexico and even into the Caribbean ?, as far south as ?? and ??!
