Copper Mountain announces record mill throughput

Copper Mountain announced that in the third quarter of 2015 the mine produced 20.4 million pounds of copper.
Concentrate shipped during the quarter contained approximately 21.9 million pounds of copper, plus gold and silver, generating an estimated US$60 million in gross revenue. In the third quarter the mill achieved an average record throughput of 37,400 tpd, an increase of 22% over the comparative period of 2014. The ore grade averaged 0.35% copper for the quarter.
Copper Mountain is up 37% for the week to 55 cents.
Copper Mountain is located in Canada, 20km south of Princeton. The mine is a copper (porphyry) deposit, with additional occurrences of gold and silver. Production is an open-pit operation, employing truck and shovel technology.
Copper Mountain is 75.00% owned by Copper Mountain and 25.00% owned by Mitsubishi Materials.
