A train carrying potash derailed near Hope, British Columbia, Monday morning.
According to CN Rail, about 20 cars went off the tracks on a bridge near Hunter Creek, about 150 kilometres east of Vancouver.
“CN’s team of environmental experts as well as third party contractors are also responding as several of the cars derailed into an adjacent body of water,” the company said in an emailed statement.
CN added that there are no injuries, fires, or dangerous goods reported to be involved at this time.
