Sepro Mineral Systems delivers a 2.4m X 4.2m-110 kW Sepro Scrubber to Lehigh Materials
Sepro Mineral Systems was recently awarded a project to supply a 2.4m X 4.2m-110 kW Sepro Scrubber to Lehigh Materials a division of Heidelberg Cement.
The unit will be installed in their largest sand and gravel site in Canada where they produce over 5.0 million tonnes per year of construction aggregates.
This order is significant for a number of reasons.
- It is the first Sepro Scrubber to be installed in North America.
- It is the first unit to be fabricated in North America with final assembly and testing done at Sepro’s facilities in Langley British Columbia.
- Finally the unit has been designed to replace an existing competitors unit without requiring any modifications to the existing foundation and structures.
It was chosen based on the simplicity and the historic low operating cost of this design.
The unit is designed to process up to 500 tph of -40mm gravel. Installation and commissioning of this unit was completed in August 2009.
