Orano warns of financial problems at Niger uranium plant
The West African nation increasingly seeks new partners, such as Russia, in its mining sector.
Italian border police seized about $6 million worth of gold bars from a family returning to their home in Switzerland on Easter Sunday, the BBC reports.
Officers stopped the travellers’ car because it looked weighed down and searched it further when the adults — an Italian couple with three young children — started looking worried.
The shakedown revealed 12 gold ingots hidden underneath the car floor. Police have reported the driver on suspicion of money laundering.
A video of the gold cache can be seen here.

Too bad they weren’t able to use Bitcoin. It doesn’t weigh anything. 🙂
I’ve been mining Bitcoin and Litecoin for awhile now and see it as being a useful means for a family like this to move their wealth around without unnecessary suspicion. http://www.coinminingrigs.com
