Gold’s remarkable year
Gold truly enjoyed a remarkable 2024, relentlessly powering higher to many new records.
Italian designer Alberto Moretti created his and her 24 carat shoes going on sale at exclusive department stores.
There is a high heel version for women and a loafer for men. Made from velvet, the shoes will be covered in gold and will sell for about US$2,671.
Some of the stores that will carry the shoes are Barneys in New York, Fred Segal in L.A., The Swank in Hong Kong, Level Shoe District in Dubai and Harrods in London.
